User interface overview
After you start the program, you will see the main window of
the program.

It contains:
Menu
Toolbars
Data panes
Menu
File
Add file - select an XML file to be
processed and add it to the list. You can also add files from Windows Explorer
using drag-and-drop onto the XML file list.
Add folder - specify a folder, which will add all
XML files stored in this folder to the list of files to be processed.
Delete file - remove the selected file
from the list.
Delete all files - remove all files from
the list.
Save log - save the log to a file.
Save log as - save the log to a new file.
Print log - print the log.
Exit - exit the program.
Edit
Move file up - move the file selected in
the list up.
Move file down - move the file selected in
the list down.
Edit file - open the selected XML file in
the editor. You can specify the editor that should be used in the settings:
Tools->Options. If no editor is specified in the settings, the editor associated
with XML files in the system is used. You can also double-click the file in the
File List pane.
Copy log - copy the contents of the log to
the clipboard.
Clear log - clear the log.
View
Toolbars - enable or disable various
toolbars.
Status bar - enable or disable the status
bar.
Messages - choose types of messages
displayed in the log. There are messages of the following types: Debug -
messages containing service information about the progress of the import
process, Info - messages containing more general information about the progress
of the import process, Warning - messages containing information about problems
that do not interrupt import, Error - error messages.
Import
Start - start the import process.
Pause - pause the import process.
Start - stop the import process.
Tools
Variables -
defining global variables.
DM logon -
specifying the logon parameters
for Hummingbird DM.
Options -
program settings.
Help
Help topics - open the help file.
Contents - open the table of contents of
the help file.
Index - open the index of the help file.
Search - open the search through the
contents of the help file.
About - open the "About" dialog box with
information about the version and license.
Toolbars
Toolbars are used to quickly access the
most frequently used features. Toolbar commands correspond to menu commands.
Data panes
The main window of the program contains
three panes:
File List pane
- the list of XML files being imported.
Log pane
- various messages showing information about the progress of import process.
Log details pane
- shows the full text of the message selected in the log pane.
